We had a great Christmas and took a few pics on Christmas Day that we thought we would share...

Some friends passed on 2 of these rocking horses over the break and the girls have loved them!

We love our trampoline and spend lots of time on it!

We had some friends visit from Saudi Arabia in the past couple of weeks and David always loves having an excuse to get the quad out and ride around. Here is Hava and her new friend having a ride...

It RAINED last week in Doha! Amazing! The girls sat in the doorway and watched. It was pretty cute.

Pretty sunset, after the rain...

No more rain since then...but we ARE loving the sunshine this time of year while David is on Christmas break. We have been going to lots of playgrounds and having lots of picnics!

There are lots of playgrounds in the city and we have picking a new one to go to each time. I like this one because you can see the water in the distance.

3 kids videos projected on the wall (the original idea was to show Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving special...but that was a bit too slooooow for our age audience...which averaged about 2 years old!)
2 many bounces on the trampoline to count
1 beautiful evening that allowed us to eat outside
all amounted to a very enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner with other friends who share this desert life with us...

Hava had her first field trip this past week to the plant souqs and we were able to go along. Each kid picked out a plant for class. They are going to plant a garden. They are in the midst of studying about plants, roots, oxygen etc...and so a trip to the plant store was perfect and so cute to see them each carefully picking out "the perfect plant". We also picked out some plants for home to plant since we were already there.
